La Leche League of Southwest Oklahoma

Breastfeeding support in Lawton, Oklahoma.

I am the current La Leche League Leader in Southwest Oklahoma. We have monthly breastfeeding support groups at the Lawton/ Fort Sill art council.

Our meeting time is really cool because we meet at the same time as the free childrens monthly art class. We have our meeting in a private space but older kids can come and work on art or when we get done with the meeting we can make cute little art things with our babies like handprints or other keepsakes.

La Leche League of Southwest Oklahoma offers breastfeeding support that covers a variety of issues including surviving the early postpartum weeks, managing milk supply, coping with latch issues, mastitis, tongue tie/lip tie, working and breastfeeding, and more.

Meetings are always free, welcoming, and share lots of great resources and information for families. Even if breastfeeding is going well it can be nice to gather and connect with like minded parents in the same stages of life.
